Lori A. Leu Recently Named as Certified Elder Law Attorney

The National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) recently announced that Lori Leu is officially a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA). In order to earn this designation, Lori has the enhanced knowledge, skills and experience to be identified to the public as a Certified Elder Law Attorney. She had to successfully complete a rigorous full-day exam and demonstrate that her law practice is actually focused on elder law.  Lori also had to undergo a peer review to confirm her competence and qualifications in elder law.

Lori is one of three CELA’s in the DFW Metroplex and one of twenty-five in Texas. The National Elder Law Foundation is the only national certifying program for elder law and special needs attorneys. Beginning in 1994, NELF certified its first batch of examinees and now there are only a little over 400 CELA’s in the nation.
